If you need food, we can help.
About our program
We can serve you once every 30 days. We give between 1-3 days worth of food. Items given are dependent on donations received and may vary each visit.
Client Service Protocols
Clients attending the North Bay Food Bank are asked to line up outside (please dress for the weather) as we will bring in 1 – 2 clients at a time for service. Clients (and visitors) to the Food Bank are required to wash their hands and use hand sanitize. Please ensure you have the proper documentation prior to your visit, and that you are attending on your eligible visit date or later (see below for policy). If you’re unable to make it in to see us, here is a list of other food banks and programs available in North Bay (based on information provided, please contact individual programs for hours and service requirements).
What do I need to bring?
For service at the Food Bank, you will need:
- Valid I.D. for each household member (e.g. birth certificate, passport, drivers license, Status Card, Ontario photo card).
- Current income statement(s) for everyone claiming food for (e.g. Child Tax benefit, ODSP or OW statement, EI, pay stub, CPP, OAS).
- Proof of rent/mortgage and address (e.g. rent receipt or intent to rent document) as well as proof of expenses (utilities).
We only provide service to North Bay and Redbridge.
- You’ll also need to bring a backpack, boxes or reusable bags to pack your food in.
Tuesday:9 am – 12 noon
Wednesday:3 pm – 6 pm
Thursday:3 pm – 6 pm
