We're Here For You

If you need food, we can help.

About our program

We can serve you once every 30 days. We give between 1-7 days worth of food. Items given are dependent on donations received, so may vary each visit.

Covid-19 Protocols

COVID-19 protocols are in place with clients being asked to line up outside (please dress for the weather) as we will bring in 1 – 2 clients at a time for service. Clients (and visitors) to the Food Bank are required to wash their hands, use hand sanitize and wear a mask/face covering while near the doors or in the building. If you’re unable to make it in to see us, here is a list of other food banks and programs available in North Bay (based on information provided, please contact individual programs for hours and service requirements).

What do I need to bring?

For service at the Food Bank, you will need:

  1. Valid government issued I.D. for each household member (e.g. birth certificate, health card, passport, drivers license, Ontario photo card).
  2. Income statement(s) for everyone claiming food for (e.g. Child Tax benefit, ODSP slip, OW, EI, pay stub, CPP, OAS).
  3. Proof of rent/mortgage and address (e.g. rent receipt or intent to rent document) as well as proof of expenses (utilities).
We only provide service to North Bay and Redbridge.
